Long Island Piney Power show: Panamoka Pines unscathed by Irene!

It is simply amazing how these Pitch Pines hold up in storms! Unfortunately they cant hold up as well against these Southern Pine Beetles, as I did spot some Pines that were infected with the Southern Pine Beetle and I show them to you. NY State really needs to cut down the diseased trees to stop the spread of these beetles. Cutting them down disorients the beetles so they cant spread. This was a brief video pretty much showing you the scenery in this area. I did see a Blue Heron that just managed to escape from the camera, and I also manage to hear some frogs calling by the ponds.
